I stayed at Secret Paradise in Ella for a few nights and had an amazing experience. The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk from the center through beautiful tea plantations. It's a peaceful oasis away from the busy and noisy town. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with good WiFi. The highlight was definitely the terrace, where I could relax in a hammock and listen to the jungle sounds, including the mesmerizing fireflies. The breakfasts were huge and the best I had in Sri Lanka, with both local and continental options. Nalin, the host, was incredibly helpful and welcoming, and his mom's cooking was sensational. Secret Paradise provides incredible value for what you get.

The location of the guesthouse, nestled among the tea fields, provided breathtaking views and a truly relaxing atmosphere. Despite being removed from the bustling main street, it was still conveniently close, only a 10-minute walk away. The spacious and clean room, along with the private outdoor sitting area, made our stay even more enjoyable. The strong WiFi, laundry service, and delicious breakfast options further enhanced our experience. We were sad to leave this hidden paradise and would highly recommend it to others. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a memorable stay in Ella.

The units at Ella Secret Paradise are cozy and homely, with a comfortable seating area where you can relax and unwind after a day of exploring. I love the double room with a balcony and garden view – it's the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of tea in the morning. The balcony in selected rooms is an added bonus, allowing you to soak up the beautiful surroundings.

If I had to nitpick, I would say that some units at the guest house do not have a balcony. But hey, that's just my personal preference – others might not mind at all!

The garden surrounding the hotel is also a highlight, filled with flowers, giant plants, and even the occasional visit from squirrels and monkeys. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature, all while being just 10 to 15 minutes away from the bustling center of town.

There is one aspect of the hotel that could use improvement. Some previous guests have mentioned encountering mold in their rooms, causing discomfort and even prompting an early departure.
